Components of an Effective Web Site

Visual Appeal

Your visitor’s first impression will influence and determine whether he/she decides to stay or move on. Needless to say, a poor first impression will mean you have lost an opportunity to communicate your message and potentially win a new customer.

Easy To Navigate

A good first impression can only be made with a professional and well-designed website that is easy to navigate and does a good job of communicating your message. A website like this will gain your customer’s’ trust, lead them to return over and over again and even recommend it by word-of-mouth.

Effective Communication

The online community is now an interconnected, global web that serves as a platform for communicating your idea and mission to the world. However, in order to be effective, it’s important to communicate your message well and make sure your website is designed in a way that communicates quickly and creatively.

Modern Technology

With site visitors reaching your web site from a multitude of devices, it is critical to employ technology that allows your site to display in an effective and readable manner no matter what device is being used.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cost of a website can vary greatly depending on the type of site needed to accommodate your business. Schedule a Discovery Call today to discuss your specific needs. We’ll send you a free custom proposal with options tailored to fit your needs.

The timeline for a website build varies on the complexity, the number of pages needed, and other factors dealing with functionality and type of site being built. Basic 4-5 page sites can typically be built in about 2-3 weeks assuming content is prepared and ready. Sites such as eCommerce or real estate typically take longer.

From day one, we work with you to clearly define your ideal persona and understand your online goals, which will improve your website user experience and engage potential new customers or clients. Once we’ve identified everything from customer personas to brand tone and messaging, we build a website that sets you on the path of clear communication.

We design all of our sites using WordPress, as it allows for the highest level of customization, while still offering a great balance of usability on the backend of the site. As WordPress is the most used open source content management system used on the internet today, it also offer the most potential for growth for your site as your business expands.

Another reason that we employ WordPress to develop our sites is it offers the ability for you to access the backend of your site to make simple edits on your own. For more complex edits, our clients typically send us along the content and we bill on a “Pay As You Go” basis.

We build every website to be responsive so it will automatically adjust to the screen width of a visitor’s device, whether it’s mobile, tablet, or desktop. That ensures a quality experience no matter what type of device brings someone to your website.

The first step for our clients is always the Discovery Call. It allows us to get to know you and your business and formulate a quote and a game plan. Once a price has been agreed to, we will invoice you for the retainer (50% of the quoted project price) to secure your place in our work schedule. Once the retainer has been received, we will work with you to acquire the needed content for the site and we go to work!
